What is a Budget?


A budget, also referred to as the negative cost of a film, is the cost of producing a motion picture. This includes, above-the-line costs, below-the-line costs, insurance, legal fees, fringes, completion bond fee, and contigency. A budget may also refer the actual document that lists all the costs associated with the film.
